Do you have items you no longer need or want, but you aren't sure if they can be recycled?  Consider freecycle!  Here's how it works.  A group of local people are part of an online message board.  When someone has an item to give away, he or she posts it on the board and waits for someone to respond.  Pick up is arranged, then the giver lets the board know when the item is spoken for.  Items must be free and must be picked up by the person who wants the item.
